I have really enjoyed this compilation of John Bucchino's piano/vocal works. It is similar in difficulty to his first set of songs in the book, "Grateful". Learning to play these pieces has been a challenge but it is very gratifying once you feel you can muddle through them...

with a minimum of mistakes. Bucchino is a tremendously gifted songwriter and I had been searching for this book for over a year. I was thrilled to have found and purchased it through sheetmusicplus.com The transcriptions in "It's Only Life" as in his previous book, "Grateful" mirror exactly what you hear on the CDs of each of these collections.

The Music in this score is beyond beautiful, and anyone who is a Jason Robert Brown fan would LOVE John Bucchino. He composes beautifully, and he really understands how to show off a singer's voice, and accompany it so well with a beautiful piano score.
