Composed by Philip P. Bliss. Arranged by Gary Lanier. Contemporary,Sacred. Score and parts. 15 pages. The Lanier Company #2030117. Published by The Lanier Company (A0.613065).

IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL is a beautiful hymn arrangement for String Quartet. The parts (Vln 1, Vln 2, Viola and Cello) are included at the end of the Score. A total of 15 pages. Each instrument has its appointed time to play the melody. Counter melodies and motives are heard throughout being played in a classical, but 21st Century style. The listener will enjoy the refreshing change from a major key, then suddenly a minor key with the melody played by the cello. The last verse jubilantly shifts back to major and gradually builds to the final IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL ending. This arrangement works anywhere, anytime for those who love Hymns and classical music.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
