This successful tune composed by Mills and Ellington belonged to the repertoire of the Duke Ellington Band, the complete title being 'It don't mean a thing if you ain't got that swing'. All jazz fans certainly remember the legendary version on the record 'The Great Reunion', recorded in New-York in April 1961 by Duke Ellington (1899-1974) with the Louis Armstrong Band.
