Composed by Michael Bomier. Contemporary,Instructional,Standards. Score. 2 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #2031673. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862493).

The second entry from the set of nine two-art modal inventions. Also in five flats, this Phrygian mode piece does NOT have that characteristic Spanish sound, giving it it own non-tonal but non-stereotyped identity. A treble subject in four-note groups, and a bass countersubject with intervals and staccato each take turns being the center of attention, then gradually intermingle, ending with simultaneous statements of each theme in both voices, in contrary motion. Audio clip is complete and plays at specified tempo. Can be faster or slower as desired. The piece stands alone, or can be performed with any or all the others in the group. MBB.
