  • January 19, 2008 I love this piece

This piece is amazing. The first time I heard it, my band teacher had played us a recording. When we played it sounded awesome. We just played it at our conert last week. I'm in the 8th grade. I had the flute solo. At the end we got a...

    standing ovation.

I played this piece in 8th grade at UW Summer Music Clinique 2006 and was in for a wild ride. Just when I thought Mahler, Brukner, and Bach had no equalls, this piece showed up and I now add R. W. Smith as one of my #1s

  • May 17, 2007 An exciting piece of music

I still remember playing this song in my 8th grade year of middle school. It stands out as one of the most energetic songs I played, I mean, it's so lively... it really was a fun piece to play. It wasn't too hard, either.

  • April 07, 2007 Simply Amazing!

Into the Storm is an amazing piece. Our high school concert band is playing it right now for contest, and it is utterly awe-inspiring. I love the way all clashing notes to create the intense atmosphere and the beginning is just spine-tingling.
