  • January 21, 2008 Wonderful Intermediate Piano Course

This series offers a great choice for teachers who recognize the value of continuing a piano course/method into the intermediate levels. Repertoire, Technique, and Theory are coordinated in a 4-book set at each level (including Multikey Solos). The student is taught the principles of each historical period. He...

studies theory and harmony up to college-preparatory level, and he develops a complete background in technique. He then applies those skills to authentic keyboard literature. The multikey books ensure that the student learns to play in all major and minor keys, not just C, F, and G. The only real drawback to this program is that you need to use it in its entiretly for completeness. If you do, however, the series takes over your entire lesson time, with room for little else. For a student interested in the classics, this series is one of the best.
