  • March 04, 2007 Amazing piece

My son performed this piece at an All Region High school concert. They added the piece at the last minute - kids did not see the music until the night before the concert and they practiced it for about 2-3 hours and played fantastic. The percussion were scattered thruout the...

auditorium so you got the full surround sound effect of the helicopters. Wow. One of my all time favorites.

  • August 02, 2004 A joy to hear and brilliant to play!

This is an amazing piece of music. I truly enjoyed playing it, and all our hard work really paid off. The flute solo and percussion 'helicopters' help make Inchon particularly memorable. Our conductor put three or four drums in the audience to emphasize the percussion parts. This piece is exciting...

and fun to play for every section in the band!

  • October 19, 2001 A wonderful piece

The sound effects are great, and the flute solo wonderful. The slow section makes me shiver each time I hear it. There's some chord in there that really hits me (in a good way).
