This is a widely available piano version, also available in printed form. Although it's nice, it didn't closely enough resemble the familiar Glenn Miller Orchestra recording for me. A word on notation, too... Sometimes the music is written with straight eighth notes that are to be "medium swing...

" according to the initial tempo indication. Other times, dotted eighth rhythms are written out. This was confusing as I was first learning it, and I still don't know if it's meant to be played differently or not. I just go by "feeling" and I'm probably playing it the same.

I didn't love this version, though as I'm playing it more, it's growing on me slightly. I've been listening to a Glen Miller version (orchestra) for years -- which I love, and this seemed like a little different style to me. I'm no expert, though. I...

wish I could have seen or heard the whole thing before purchasing, since there are no returns on digital music and I couldn't get a feel for the piece from only the first page. :(
