About Original Sheet Music Edition

Each ORIGINAL SHEET MUSIC EDITION has been arranged for piano by Alfred's talented staff of arrangers. Every effort has been made for the arrangement to be playable on the piano and to sound as close to the original recording as possible. If there are lyrics, a separate vocal line is used so that singers can easily sing along, and all lyrics as heard on the original recording are always included. Almost all arrangements are written in the original key in which they were recorded.

  • July 29, 2004 Sounds beautiful!

"This song is very, very basic and pretty easy to play, but it sounds beautiful. Sightreading this piece was fairly easy too. I was expecting it to be a little harder then it is, but I still love playing it."

  • July 10, 2004 Good for beginner.... Which I am!

It's a pretty song once you get use to it and get all of the sharpes and minors down. The parts I am having the most problems with it is the bottom of the second page and the very last page... Those sharpes and minors are driving me nuts...

remembering where to put my fingers. But hey I'll get it sooner or later. I have only been playing for like 3 months off and on. So i say im doing pretty good. But if you are wondering about buying it just buy it, its soothing and fun, anyway it's cheap so get over it.... (LOL)

It was easy, and there may have been parts missing as others pointed out. But is extremely beautiful, and, with the right dynamics, it can be both moving and haunting. The lyrics are also poetic and go well with the movie. I highly recommend this song (even if, for some...

horribly strange reason, you don't like the movie.) :)

  • March 11, 2003 great song

After watching the film i couldn't wait to buy the sheet music because it is such a beautiful piece of music. However, after recieving the music i was slightly disappointed in that the music was very simple to play.

I found this piece to be one of the most beautiful I have played. Howard Shore and Fran Walsh did an awesome job. The lyrics are meaningful and help to bring the music to life.
