  • April 24, 2008 Great edtion, Great music

I've been a recent Debussy convert, although I prefer the music of Ravel to Debussy, he is quickly becoming one of my favorite composers. I like the Alfred edtions of Debussy's music because of the history about the compositions, as well as good editorial suggestions. I like the...

suggestions because I am largely unfamiliar with Debussy's work. Maybe when i get more familiar, i'll graduate to a G. Henle edtion, but for now this is great. The music is great, but hard to understand if you are more used to music of earlier generations. It's only a few dollars, so add to your collection.. highly recommended
