Saxophone Trio,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.799921

Composed by Alan Menken. Arranged by Brad Carman. Pop. 8 pages. Brad Carman #3094845. Published by Brad Carman (A0.799921).

This early intermediate level saxohpone trio is appropriate for most 2nd year students but can also be played by an advanced group looking to fill in a program with something lyrical, expressive, and familiar.

Students should be encouraged to listen to the original recording for ideas regarding phrasing, dynamics, and rubato. Players are also encouraged to stylize the melody rhythmically to match the interpretations of the original artists or to fit student/teacher preferences.

Important to note, each part changes roles frequently. Attention should be paid to balance, blend, and continuity of sound and tone. This arrangement is designed to give each player plenty to do and to challenge everybody to know how their part fits in with the others as the melody and inner voices weave among the players.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
