I love gospel swing music. I want to enter heaven dancing. It's fun to play, but requires some practice. I too would like to see more of this style music.

  • July 26, 2009 Wonderful music

I agree with the other reviewers, these are absolutely beautiful arrangements. Although the book lists them as advanced arrangements, compared to other books I have, I'd say they are on the "intermediate side" of advanced. Jazz covers lots of different styles, and these arrangements generally explore harmonizations and rhythms...

that I find different and enjoyable, yet are still much appreciated in our relatively traditional worship services.

  • August 25, 2008 Loved this collection

This collection impressed me, and I am extremely discerning. The arrangements were fresh, jazzy and enough of a challenge to keep me interested. I have performed several of them in public and gotten rave reviews.
