    Difficulty Level:
  • December 10, 2011 Excellent Starter Book

This book is an excellent introduction to fake book playing for someone who already has a working knowledge of piano/keyboard. It starts with simple triads and easy accompaniment patterns, and builds to an intermediate level. A player who already has a good knowledge of chord playing might find the...

book to be too rudimentary. But for making a first step into melody/chord playing the book is a good choice.
