This SAB condensation of an exceptionally lovely choral classic works very well, providing a highly achievable arrangement even for smaller or less experienced choirs. The arranger has successfully condensed the original 4-parts into three without surrendering its essential qualities: the interweaving melodies, the movement from voice to voice, and...

the layering, rising, and gentle drama that so enhance the beauty of this delightful composition. The piano accompaniment is well constructed without being too demanding. Low bases may feel just a bit stretched by occasional notes slightly higher than they may usually see, but the melodic lines generally lead them nicely into and through those moments. Overall, this is a wonderful asset to any choir's repertoire.
