Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Bill Carmody. Classical. Score and parts. 103 pages. Bill Carmody #1936117. Published by Bill Carmody (A0.748798).

This is an unabridged transcription of Mozart's 3rd French horn concerto K. 447 - 1st movement. The clarinets play much of the 1st violin part, but the range and technical demands are modest. This is one of the most popular horn concertos and every serious horn player studies it. The piece takes about six minutes (or a little more depending on tempo). There is an easy timpani part (Bb-Eb), but other percussion parts could easily be added if desired. This is a great feature for your French horn soloist which has been missing from the band literature for far too long.
