One of the fine "oldies" that stirs the hearts of people. An excellent soprano sang it in church recently and it was thrilling. I am thankful for the composer, S. Adams, and the lyricist, F. Weatherly, for this lovely music.

Exactly what I was looking for. Brings back many childhood memories of this wonderful song without all the flowery, showoff notes. A few years ago I bought an arrangement full of key changes and four-pages longer, which I very seldom play. I enjoy this arrangement more for its simplicity...

  • January 11, 2007 Interesting

I've been listening to the Ian Bousfield cd of famous pieces performed by Arthur Pryor. He does a wonderful job with it. IT's quite inspiring, and I'm very tempted to include this piece in an upcoming recital this summer. It's not technically difficult, but the phrasing...

is probably the hardest part about it. And I'm sure tuning will be an issue since it's just an exposed part compared to the background voicings.

  • August 11, 2004 terrible!

this was one of the worst music purchases i've ever done! It is way too easy. Easy enough for a 5 year old! it sounds worse than anything i've heard from a hymn book!
