Composed by K. Brigden. Children,Folk,Instructional. Octavo. 5 pages. K Brigden #3074029. Published by K Brigden (A0.980240).

A fun 'tavern round' with text from Shakespeare's 12th night. The full score is the original score for SATB with an extra sheet for use with other voices. The piece can be sung in up to 8 parts using the additional sheet for a more flexible performance.
The composition was written for an updated Shakespeare production but this piece harks back to the Elizabethan music written for a drunken group of characters in a tavern the word setting tries to convey their drunken execution of the song. As a sort of drinking song, it should have a 'tankard swilling sway' and performed with a rall worthy of a renaissance motet at the end. Breath marks are suggested for inexperienced lungs and to help with diction, as the words can almost form a tongue twister when sung at faster speeds.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
