Selections from the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah. Arranged for oboe duet and optional keyboard (harpsichord). Not easy music, but it is accessible. The keyboard part adds a nice Baroque flavor to the music, but it is optional. The music includes: Overture, O Thou that Tellest Good Tidings to Zion, For Unto Us a Child is Born, Pastoral Symphony, and Glory to God The audio sample is "For Unto Us a Child is Born" in a version for flute and clarinet. All other versions are similar, but adjusted to work with the instruments being used.
