  • April 23, 2008 good product

some pieces in this book are very simple strum pieces begginner/intermediate, while others are fairly challenging, such as maggie, I really enjoy the play along series, it's a fun easy way to learn songs especially for hobbyists, I would like to see more volumes comming out especially for...

    acoustic guitar.

  • February 12, 2008 Could be great with a little tweaking

I bought this book fully understanding that the books in this series are designed for 1 guitar no matter if the song really has 2, 3 or more guitars playing at the same time. So I was not expecting every note or fill in every song. But I have to...

say in "Every Rose has It's Thorn" the song had some major differences in strumming patterns as opposed to the actual recording. Someone who is not so familiar with that song or who doesn't play guitar may never know the difference. But Anyone who listens to the song and the play along track can tell there are some major flaws. Overall this book is a 4. I really like the books in these series, but this song needs to be corrected.
