    Barcelona (Spain)
    Difficulty Level:
  • April 16, 2008 Oh, "JuliaFlorida" and Barrios "tremolos"!

The Agustin Barrios "tremolos" are conceived in a different way to the classic Tarrega “tremolos. Each voice has its own interest. So, upper and lower voice are not only a chant and an accompaniment, but two chants interrelated. In this volume you can find a nice “tremolo such as “Una...

limosna por el amor de Dios. There are here other wonderful compositions also as there are “Las Abejas, and a very romantic piece: “Julia Florida (listen it performed by the outstanding paraguayan guitarist Berta Rojas in “Intimate Barrios CD. Marvelous piece!). Well I would recommend to all guitarists to buy the complete collection of Agustin Barrios works, They found in them an abundant source of beautiful and different class of music with which to give wide variety to their recitals.
