A nice variety of songs. However, the book should be spiral bound. It is hard to keep open because it is so thick.

Quite an enjoyable book! There are challenging arrangements as well as relatively easy ones, and a nice selection of themes. I find it difficult to find books that are neither too easy nor too repetitive, and this one is a lot of fun.

The majority of the music in this book comes from movies from 1990 and earlier. However, for the most part, the music has been arranged well (exception: Harold Faltermeyer's Theme to Top Gun). If you have a need to play the themes included herein, you should not be disappointed...

(as you may very well be with Dan Coates; the "Love Story" arrangement included here is much better than any that he has come up with). For intermediate players, the most you'll spend learning the songs included herein will be a week, causally practicing. In short, it's a solid book.
