  • November 24, 2007 Are you kidding?

This along with many other chord books is a joke. I'd like to see Ryan Adams look through this book and try to play the songs he wrote. Most likely he couldn't, because the chords and rhythm are not at all accurate. If anyone knows anything about music...

he or she would see clearly that this book is not accurate. However, if one doesn't mind changing around the chords and rhythm closer to what the actual song is, then this book is not half that bad.

  • August 06, 2006 Great book, if you know Adams stuff

This is a good book for those that know his stuff and want to play it. Lays out multiple guitars nicely and shows where they fit in the song. Everything sounded on to me....

  • July 24, 2004 Not THAT Bad...

The tablature was good for the most part. If you listen to the record for rhythm and placement, it's really spot on. There is some questionable tuning on "Rescue Blues" and the slide of "Tina Toledo", but I tend to mix lead parts and rythym as the way that...

I play, so I really like how everything is set up ad far as the different guitar parts. There are sections of "ad lib guitar" that always irritate me, but you just have to tweak. It really makes playing guitar interesting again.

  • December 21, 2003 Ryan Adams "Gold"

This book is not at all accurate. The chord and rhythm notations have been modified for a piano, vocal format. Maybe this might be good for beginners or for people who don't play that often. Apparently there was no money or time spent on putting together this book. I...

was very disappointed to have purchased such an awful book.
