Goin’ Home or Going Home
Goin’ Home is based on Largo from The New World Symphony by Antonin Dvorak. It is said to have been based on a Negro folk song Dvorak had heard while traveling through the United States (The New World) in the late 19th century.

Arranged for brass ensemble by Jari Villanueva and played in the movie "Clear and Present Danger" by the United States Air Force Band. It has been used at presidential funerals for the departure ceremonies at Andrews Air Force Base and was used in 1998 for the dis-interment ceremony for the Vietnam Unknown at Arlington National Cemetery. It is still used today by military bands at Arlington National Cemetery. It is scored for 3 Trumpets, 2 Horns, 3 Trombones, Euphonium, Tuba and Timpani.
