This new piece for piano duet is based on the Christmas carol "God rest you, merry Gentlemen" and consists of 4 variations, starting with a majestic, grand opening, then flowing through 2 lilting 3/4 sections, and culminating in a short fugue. It was originally written for 2 pianos, and if you have access 2 instruments, please take a look at the original version. This piece forms part of a series of piano variations for 2 pianos (also arranged for piano duet).
