    Schererville, IN
    Difficulty Level:
  • June 09, 2011 Spacious, Flexible, and Quite Accesible!

Another masterpiece from John Rutter, "God Be In My Head," has to be one of his most touching and heartfelt Choral Works and that is also relatively easy to sing. Because of the pieces' short length, it has the potential to be learned a bit more quickly (in comparison to...

Rutters other works.) While not a too difficult piece, this one will require excellent work in phrasing in order to create the spacious, Cathedral sound the work invokes. In my opinion, this piece works better with larger choirs.

    Olmsted Falls, OH`
    Difficulty Level:
  • February 10, 2007 Another wonderful Rutter piece

This is a quiet piece with an ancient text, one of several pieces John Rutter has composed using ancient texts. This lovely piece is appropriate for a benediction as well as a funeral piece.
