As a jazz lover who had been taking clarinet lessons for 1 year, I find this book and CD both challenging and fun. I can easily play all the melodies and can also do a decent job of a couple of the solos. I will continue to work on more...

of the solos. Being able to hear how they should be played is extremely helpful. A very satisfying purchase.

I have this book both for Clarinet and Eb Alto Sax. I love the numbers and play most of them, however a couple are difficult because of the fast tempo especially in the 'impro parts'

    good audience response.
