Details for teachers:
The piece itself is fairly simple. The student will need to be able to read all 9 notes in Middle C position and count basic quarter, dotted half, and whole notes. There are a couple of sharps (and one natural sign), but they're not hard for little fingers to manage.

Written in the key of A minor (no sharps or flats) but does include a couple accidentals (sharps, natural)

Best teaching tip for this song:
- Help the student with the sharps at the lesson, and play through it with them a number of times. The sharps can look a little scary, but they're actually quite simple to play.
