  • September 16, 2012 Didn't like the arrangements

I bought this book and was displeased with the song choices and the way the pieces were arranged. I believe it could have been signficantly better. I am not comfortable performing any of these arrangements in front of an audience as I do not believe that they will showcase my...

ability as an artist...sounds more like background.

  • January 04, 2008 Great Collection

Although the song names don't out at you as standard French music these songs are well worth learning. They are not easy (big note music) but challenge one's interest. Plenty of variety from java - paso - polka - valse. You can't go wrong.

  • March 30, 2007 Sounds like your in Paris!

This book is good if you like French music. They are not that easy but once you play them a few times you will get it. I like Polish music better but this is good if you really like French music.

Some pieces are difficult and I do not now all of them. However, I wanted the book for `perle de crystal`which I am not sure I will ever be able to play. However, some songs I will be able to manage. I took accordion lessons at the age of...
