  • November 17, 2011 Great transcription, but poor printing

It's a very good transcription of fantastic music, but unfortunately a large portion of the pages has quite poor printing quality, rather like a photo-copy (while the rest is in normal quality). It's quite possible to read the music, but it's not what one has come...

to expect from a fine tab-book like this. Also; "Cans and Brahms" is missing, so it's not a complete tab-version of the Fragile album.

Excellent! I've been a YES fan for 30+ yrs, playing guitar for 20. This book is NOTE FOR NOTE accurate and allows me to see what is actually going on. How about doing the YES ALBUM?

I haven't stopped using this book since I got it a week ago. It's accurate and the guitar parts are as challenging as they sound. Lots of shifting tempos and meters. It even has the bass and key where it's relevant. For example the bass and synthesizer...

parts on "Heart of The Sunrise" are present if only in abbreviated form. Lots of places in the book have "keyboards arranged for guitar" so that a guitar player won't have to sit there and just "fake" it during the keyboard interludes. The only complaint that I've got is: "What took you so long?"

  • July 11, 2006 ...at last...Thank god!!...

At last some decent Yes book... This book is simply perfect... 100% accurrate! I have been wainting for this for years... Please Alfred, don't stop there... You gotta transcript other Yes Albums like Going for The One, Relayer, Yes Album and of course, CLOSE TO THE EDGE... There is...

market availible for this kind of music. Beside those facts, Steve Howe remains one of the finest guitar players of all time... His technique is trully unique and there is a lot for us to learn with that remarkable musician. Those books can help a lot... Who likes Yes, knows how hard it is to transcript those songs by hearing...

Actual guitar parts plus vocal melodies and lyrics . Chord symbols for overall harmony. Hey Alfred, how about doing "Close to the Edge" by YES next.
