I saw this on a list of method/etude books for progressing musicians and ordered it for my 8th grade euphonium/trombone student. I liked it so much I bought a copy for myself. This is a nice way to warm up the lips at the beginning of a practice...

session. Playing the easier ones with a slow metronome is a great way to practice tone development as well as deeper breathing. The print is very clear and easy to read & the etudes progressively become more challenging. I was pleased to see that John Drew from Florida State University was the trombone CD performer as I heard him play "Blue Bells of Scotland" at an outdoor concert years ago and was enthralled. The CD is worth listening to for itself!
