This is a good book for beginners to sight read some easy tunes, and also to learn folk songs. They enjoy this book!

  • February 19, 2009 A Wonderful Book

I love the art, the large notes and the easy-play layout. It was a super fun experience. The tunes were old and easy to play for a first year student. The tunes have been around for a long time so old folks and kids have most likey heard them...

before. I am an old folk so the tunes I heard in my head came out onto my fingers. What a joy to play! Very easy! I am now acquainted with James Bastien's ability to put together old tunes in an easy arrangement that anyone can play.
