I heard this performed by a youth choir in Niantic, CT and have been looking for it ever since. What an uplifting experience. Can't wait to try it.

Love his arrangements....BUT! This is a fun medley which starts in G (1 sharp), transitions to Eb (3 flats), transitions to Ab (4 flats)and finishes there. Maybe it's because I'm the accompianist, but I like to know these things before purchase.....your pianist will have to...

be on their toes on this one! btw....sops hit a high Ab for 8 beats....lol

Fun arrangement of these songs....BUT! Starts in F, transitions to Eb, then to Ab. As the choir accompianist, I'd have liked to know this before purchase. As with all Mark Hayes arrangements, the pianist has to be better then intermediate.....lots of practise ahead and btw, the sops...

    hold a high Ab for 8 beats.....lol

  • August 01, 2007 This Medley Sings Itself!

Mark Hayes is an extremely talented composer and arranger. I'd buy anyting with his name on it, and this is no exception. He takes old Gospel standards and weaves them together beautifully. I bought arrangements for 4 parts, as well as 2 parts.

  • May 24, 2007 Loads of fun!!

My 45 member choir recently sang this piece, and it was loads of FUN! Very upbeat gospel style, lovely harmonies. Some of the songs are less well-known than others, and at least one of the transitions between songs was a bit tricky, but overall an exciting and fun piece...

! IF you like this, you should also check out "Spiritual Jubilee," another fun medley.
