This piece will help developing abilities with chromatic note sequences. The fingerings ARE helpful. But they are printed small making them hard to see. Some were partially smudged on my copy making them even harder to see. ( this accounts for three stars) A YouTube search under this title locates others...

playing this version- some quite well. I'm not sure what "Original" means. This piece is from an Opera so the true "Original" was probably a full orchestra score.

This is an okay version, but not the original version. The fingerings were not helpful and it doesn't sound like the original. I don't recommend it.

  • July 15, 2002 Fun, great learning tool in all aspects.

This book contains plenty of surprises which you can discover only after a lot of practice and time... and it is certainly worth it. Although the song is mainly composed of chromatic notes, this edition is not for the small-handed pianists. While it is a great fun to play...

and practice, this piece will greatly help train the pianists of all ages with their techniques. Warm up your hands before playing this awesome classic, because the bumblebees will come alive!
