(Level III) This waltz has a simple melody made interesting by rhythmic displacement. Drums play around the staccato statements. Room for solos with backgrounds. A short transition in m.129 brings back the theme in a smoother swinging style. After an eight-measure drum solo, the original theme returns as before in m.192. After a suggestion of the first bridge comes a rhythmically abrupt ending. 8 Brass.
