  • June 11, 2007 Some classic tuba solos for the young player

This book is full of good solos for the intermediate player. There are a few of the classic tuba pieces- 'Hall of the Mountain King', 'The Happy Farmer', 'Carnival of Venice'. My teacher/piano accompanist was not impressed with the piano parts but that is not the focus of this...

book. Perhaps the piano playher can be intermediate also. A good value.

  • February 10, 2007 Great for students!

I ordered this for my son who is in his second year of tuba, and when this came he sat right down and started playing through the book. We played some together (there is a piano part), which was a blast for me. I highly recommend the book for duets...
