This song reminded me of a middle eastern scene, don't know why, It has strong structural themes and the timing is very difficult to get.Thoroughly enjoyed playing it though.

I learned Claire De Lune when I was 12 but stopped taking lessons shortly after. I'm now 24 and was inspired to learn a new song. Debussy is my favorite and Arabesque is my new favorite song. I think it was more difficult for me to learn this one...

than Claire De Lune because it has been so long, but it is not impossible if you're rusty. The biggest issues for this song are the timing and the crescendos. It is beautiful and I could play it all day long!

Beatutiful song with a great flowing melody, almost like rain falling on the water. It is a slightly difficult piece for intermediate players but once you get the timing down for the triplets the rest of the piece should come pretty easy.
