If you are a soloist, you need to be able to read 2 ledgers at once. The book has 15 tunes, 9 of which I would say are popular and ready to go for your next acoustic wedding reception or dinner near the theater. I'm an advanced intermediate player...

and was able to play through the book sight reading. I didn't have to arrange these songs so I don't want to complain too much, but it would be better "fingerpicking" if the solo line had the up notes and accompaniament had the down notes... as it is, you have to look at both ledgers, or the guitarist plays the accompaniament and a flute or violin does the melody. I think the simplicity of "What'll I Do" makes it the best arrangement in the book, and if you've been putting off learning "I'll Be Seeing You"... it's ready to go. Well worth 10 bucks and even if you get frustrated reading two ledgers at once, you'll be a better player in no time. I already use the book in my repetoire after 1 month.
