  • July 30, 2008 a lovely arrangement

This is a really attractive arrangement of the Sting classic, but closer to the version by Eva Cassidy. The harmonies are relatively easy, with the melody line alternating between 1st and 2nd soprano. The optional solo parts provide a bit of interest to what is essentially a quite simple arrangement...

    of a well-known song.

  • June 27, 2007 Solid Choral Writing!

Emerson's setting of this ballad is well scored for SSA voices. The melody is shared between all three parts and features a four part ending. Worth trying!
