Your students and audience will love this piece because it's full of musical surprises! The tune begins with just the violins playing the traditional tune. Suddenly, 2 pianos and a lonely violin begin a fiddle-style melody. Then all of a sudden, the whole ensemble enters into call and response melodies, and we're off to Mexico with a Mariachi style of arrangement. While this arrangement sounds the most fun with 3 violin parts and piano duet, it was composed with the option of using only the secondo piano part. Written for intermediate level pianists and late-elementary to intermediate level violin. The music contains the score and all parts. 2017 Holiday Contest Entry.
