A new arrangement by master composer Arnold Sherman of the Irish tune "Star of the County Down," often associated with the text "Canticle of the Turning." It was commissioned by Handbell Musicians of America Area 7, in honor of Area Chair Sandy Mullaney, for 3 to 6 octaves of bells, optional 3 to 6 octaves of chimes, optional flute and boudran or hand drum. You get the true Irish feel, great musical contrast, and an exciting ending.
