This book contains all the numbers that made The Fantasticks such a long-running show. I bought this book specifically to have as an audition resource, as well as reference for future productions. My two teenage sons, aspiring musical theatre performers, walk around the house and constantly sing "Never Say...

    No".

Two of us choir members did "Never say No" and "Plant a Radish" as part of a coffee house service before Father's Day at our church. Our music director began with the Overture on the piano to set the stage. There is a reason this play is the longest...

running musical in history. The lyrics are timeless and truthful and the music learnable but interesting. If you put the effort in to learn it, you and your audience will be delighted with the results.
