    I like having my students do duets mainly because I have trouble getting them to count aloud so that the keep the correct time and with duets they have to count so that their partner knows when to come in and holding the notes for the correct time. In Famous...

    & Fun Pop Duets, what I liked a lot was the fact the the melody shifted from the right had to the left hand throughout the pieces so that the left hand person could have some of the melod on their side as well, which is quite different from the norm. My students are elementary to early intermediate.
