  • April 19, 2011 a fine edition

For many people, this is a definitive piano work, rich with technical details woven into a fine musical statement, and I highly recommend this edition. I use it in my studio regularly... Alfred editions, in my experience, are accurate and scholarly, and reasonably priced. Students: be prepared to delve deeply...

into this music; it is not for impatient people. Definitely intermediate level.

  • May 15, 2008 Fur Elise Music

I am into my 2nd year as an adult piano student. I am only able to play the very beginning of this piece. I found it more difficult than what others had written about it. Upon showing it to my teacher he said it was an advanced version of Fur...

Elise and most likely could not be accomplished by anyone who has not had close to 3 years or more of lessons. I will try it again in the future.

  • December 21, 2007 Parts do-able by early intermediate

The beginning and ending of Fur Elise are very "do-able" by early intermediate players (like me). The rest of the piece appears difficult. I like this edition of the music because it gives a background on the piece, plus it explains which parts of the dynamics/slurs have been...

loved this song but never had a chance to play it. Now that i have im a little disappointed. It is a beautiful song, but i expected it to be a litte harder. This song is very over-rated in terms of difficulty, if you can play this song people...

gawk at you in awe thinking you're some kind of prodigy. It only took me 4 days to learn, and my friends said it would take weeks.

  • October 27, 2004 Awesome!

This Song is AWESOME!!! I love it! It's preety hard but once you learn how to play the whole thing you will wanna play it over and over. I highly recommend this piece to anyone who wants to show off their talent! Another good song is Canon in D...

. The # is HL00202116. Canon in D is also a good song but not as good as this one. This Fur Elise is also the full lenth one which has three movements! I just absolutely love it! I've been only playing the piano for about two years and I can play it. So if you set your mind to it you can do it. Peace
