    Iowa City, IA
    Difficulty Level:
  • September 09, 2007 Astonishing

This song was commissioned for my high school choir (Iowa City High School) and is a standard in our choral repetoire. Our advanced mixed choir sings this piece every two years and every student has a lot of fun singing it. I would recommend this for a more advanced choir...

with a strong tenor and base section, as the male parts need to be very strong and the rhythms and parts can be very intricate and wind together in complex ways. Another amazing piece by Moses Hogan, and a wonderful addition to any advanced choir's repetoire!

Our choir does a Moses Hogan every year. This our first year for this song and we all love it. The rhythms are gorgious and it was a real Moses Hogan feel. Great peice but save it for a more advanced choir.
