The book itself is very cleanly printed. There are a considerable amount of streaks, but they do not take away from the clarity of the notes. Based on price, I recommend it over the Peters edition (note: I haven't tried a Peters edition). I can sat with confidence that...

this edition is usable. My teacher, a world-class pianist, had a look and confirmed that it was a good edition.

  • July 18, 2007 This book falls apart!

While I'm a big fan of the Scriabin etudes, the book itself is very poorly manufactured. Two pages have just fallen out of the book after turning them less than ten times. I will steer clear of Kalmus in the future!
