Composed by Susan Conant. Contemporary. Score and parts. 27 pages. Susan Conant #2009433. Published by Susan Conant (A0.797071).

Estuary Dance's two contrasting rhythms, an Irish slip jig and a jazz waltz, mimic the frenzied push and pull of tides against river currents. Fast, challenging and full of Celtic ornaments and jazzy nuance, this a great show piece, fun for both performer and audience. This is the flashy third and final movement of Conant's Lowcountry Suite which was inspired by the watery landscapes of the Carolina Lowcountry. Conant writes music that blends classical, jazz and Celtic music in an accessible, fun to play format. Great for recitals, concerts and church services. Especially appropriate for concerts that combine Celtic and classical music.
