    other than the beatles songs other songs like sweet caroline are not in the proper key.if you want to play along with the records this book is not for you.

    This has more of the "oldies" style songs with some Motown added in there as well. People looking for classic rock music will probably be disappointed, though. 'Gimme Some Lovin' seems way off-key on the melody, a couple of good Beatles tunes in here. Another flaw is that the...

    song versions in here aren't always the full originals; they may not contain the introduction, and the second verse/chorus (which is frequently sung higher or at a different rhythm in 60's music) is usually written in as a 1st/2nd ending repeat, so your second verse isn't always what it sounds like on the radio. Sometimes, in fact, it's not even close. The most popular songs, however, are usually written correctly. I still recommend it since it offers so many songs.
