  • February 01, 2015 Eric Clapton Deluxe

I ordered the Eric Clapton noted above and the Complete Beatles. The physical products themselves are MUCH BETTER than I'd anticipated, but . . . I've only really examined the Clapton material and discovered certain omissions in the vocals, and probable inaccuracies in the chord and other guitar work. I plan...

to have a session with a guitarist who makes her living exclusively playing music and if she concurs . . . well, we'll have to see. But again, the products are incredibly well presented and I was and am much impressed with that aspect of the purchase. If I hadn't almost certainly detected anomalies in the music and vocals I would have otherwise rated the product 5 stars.

I'm very happy with the amount of song included as well as the lead guitar bonus section. I'm playing now more than ever, and discovering new songs. I would definately recommend it.

    Difficulty Level:
  • March 12, 2009 Clapton simply great

I was suprised, as a novice guitarist (I am a bass player for most of my music life) at how simple some of the compositions were notated. Hearing is a different perspective, and this song book gave me the opportunity to "make'em my own!", rather than be intimidated by...

the layers of excellent guitar rifts I am accustomed to hearing whenever I listen to Clapton. Good book!
