Arranged by Henry Aaron This wonderful collection of Woodwind Quintet Encores was originally arranged for the Chicago Symphony Woodwind Quintet whose members included: Ralph Johnson, Robert Mayer, Jerome Stowall, Philip Farkas, and Wilbur Simpson. Serveral of these selections were recorded by the Chicago Symphony Woodwind Quintet album entitled 'ENCORE!' (Audiophile AP17). Absolutely perfect for concert or contest.

    i'm in a chamber group of high school students and we ordered this collection of pieces. we find the pieces challenging--with difficult key signatures we're not used to seeing, but it has greatly improved our playing ability and sight reading skills... however, we find the pieces a...

    little boring for our tastes... but good skill builders (and great for sight reading as an ensemble)
