    Brahms, who wrote the concert work "A German Requiem", also composed these lovely chorale preludes. They were published posthumously and also have to do with "the last things". The late organist, E. Power Biggs has presented the preludes in the original form and also in layouts that exploit the possibilities...

    of using the pedal and alternate manuals to bring out the voices in a more effective manner.
